Coyotes Football Run With The Pack
  • 2012 Station Hill Coyotes

Welcome to the home of the Station Hill Coyotes Youth Football and Cheerleading Program

Founded in 2010, the Station Hill Coyotes offers a youth football and cheerleading program for children ages 5-12, who reside in and around Williamson and Maury Counties in Middle Tennessee.    Every child with the desire to participate will get the opportunity to play, without regard to prior experience, athletic ability, size or financial commitment.    All members and coaches of the Coyotes Program shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skills or the winning of a game is secondary, and the molding and mentoring of future citizens is of primary importance.

    Our Mission

The Station Hill Coyotes Youth Football and Cheerleading program is a non-profit community organization with 501(c)(3) status whose mission is to provide an atmosphere for positivity, teamwork and sportsmanship while developing essential skills and knowledge that our youth will continue to use throughout their lives.    Our mission also includes:

         • Bringing our youth closer together through common interest in sportsmanship and competition
         • Acquaint the players with the rules and fundamentals of the sport
         • Teach sportsmanship, build character and discipline
         • Encourage the players to maintain satisfactory grades in school
         • Emphasize the importance of keeping a proper balance between scholastic and athletic endeavors
         • To promote the physical and emotional well being of young athletes
         • To establish an understanding of the commitment necessary in order to enhance success, both on and off the field
         • To promote improved community relations by demonstrating an interest in the youth of our community

    Community Benefits

The community benefit of youth sports is hard to measure at the individual program level but it has been researched that young people engaged in sports are more likely to be positively engaged in school, and more likely to resist many risk behaviors.    There is some research evidence that former athletes are more likely to engage in things like voluntarism and voting when they reach adulthood.    There is also practical evidence that sports bring communities together as people convene to watch sporting events and do the myriad things it takes to support youth sports programs.    Taken together, all of these factors argue for the community benefit of youth sports.

  • Andrew Duke Warren

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our friend, Duke Warren.

On Friday afternoon, March 23, 2012, Duke suffered a heart attack and suddenly passed away.    Duke had become a very important part of our lives and his passing will leave a great void in all of our hearts.

Over the years, Duke had been heavily involved with youth sports in our community and instrumental in teaching many of our children the values of hard work, sportsmanship, and believing in themselves.

Duke is survived by his loving wife Lori and their two children, Harrison and Sophia.

Lori has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a college fund that is being set up for Harrison and Sophia.    Checks can be mailed to the following PO Box and sent to the attention of Lanie or Greg Cash:

    5016 Spedale Court
    PMB #270
    Spring Hill, TN 37174

An account for the children's college fund will be set up at Capital Bank (previously Green Bank - Next to Wendy's) in Spring Hill and donations can also be made on location.

Lori, Harrison, and Sophia greatly appreciate and are overwhelmed by the outpouring love and support that everyone has shown to their family during this very difficult time.

We cannot express enough how our hearts go out to the family, please continue keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Winning comes secondary to creating an environment of teamwork and sportsmanship; however, it is still important to highlight the achievements of young athletes when their hard work and dedication provide success.    Within the first 2 years of the Station Hill Coyotes Youth Football and Cheerleading Program, our young athletes have achieved the following through their hard work and dedication.
